In early 2018, I decided to work on my brand. My avatar and 'brand' thus far had simply been my name and a stylized version of myself, but I wanted something with a more professional look. I started a process of designing logos. After gathering a lot of feedback, I finally ended up going with the top left logo.
Bee Animations for a Streamer
A friend of mine who has recently taken up streaming asked me to make a simple bee-themed animation for his Twitch notifications. This means the animation will pop up when a new user follows or subscribes to the channel, amongst other things.
'Spiritual Matters' - Designed and Animated Characters
My latest project was Spiritual Matters, a mystery visual novel with a focus on characters. For this purpose, I designed a set of characters and provided them with a variety of poses and animations. The first character was Josephine, a stoic and calculating church leader:
The second character was Benedikt, a passionate diplomat and a bit of a hippie.
The third and fourth characters were Violetta and Elia, an enigmatic traveler and her quiet son.
'Mind Your Tone' - Designed and Animated Characters
For the Mind your Tone project, I was charged with designing and animating a few characters. Highlights include the 4 emotional states of Dr. Gada, one of the people involved in the discussion the players had to resolve.
'Bosbeestje' - Designed and Animated Interactive Environment
For the Bosbeestje project, it was critical for our target audience that everything seemed vibrant, alive and response. I was charged designing a character, Franz the Inventor, and animating several of the interactions, like a special sack that could spit out new items.
Global Game Jam 2016 - Designed and Animated a Viking
For the Global Game Jam in 2016, we developed a game based on the 'Ritual' theme. The game starred a set of vikings, which I designed and animated.
Dezzel Media Internship - Various Art Assets
During my Internship at Dezzel Media, I made a lot of vector art for their BrainGymmer games. A lot of games I created assets for required perception and memory, which means my art had to be simple but visually distinctive.
